The first ever Jaktent, in Indonesia’s capital Jakarta, aims to be the new hub for Creative Content and Rights Trading in Asia Pacific and licenses for publishing products and other IP from the cultural and creative sectors in Asia Pacific. Jaktent aims to be THE place in Asia Pacific where members of the international content communities (literature, film, technology, creative etc.) meet, share, discuss and trade – at a number of different forums and formats: Exhibit-Sell-Buy-Enjoy-Learn-Watch-goCosplay-Eat Well: Jaktent opens new horizons for its public visitors and new markets for the professional world.
At Jaktent, the Jakarta Content Week, you will find:
LitBeat: A conference for professionals and public who are interested in learning more about different creative industries, want to enhance their business or simply enjoy listening to experienced and inspiring speakers from all over the world and from industries like publishing, writing, film directing, OTT, entertainment, audiobooks, technology, start ups etc.
LitFest: A literary festival with sparkling authors from Asia Pacific and the World.
The Market: A book and general IP exhibition with a Business Hub that hosts a programme and matchmaking services for the publishing and adjacent industries. There will be an exclusive programme for the publishing industry to cross sell rights and licenses.
LitFilm: An art house film festival and film financing forum.
LitBite: the healthy culinary festival. Professionals and public are invited to enjoy or take away healthy food that will keep you fit.
